Jamie Buxton is a singer, writer, actor, and a professor of voice and musical theatre. When she approached me about her book, Rainbow Road: The Little Book of Singing, she already had her story finished and was wrapping up the final images with her illustrator, Chelsey Hill. Chelsey had a lot of the ground work done and Jamie knew what she was looking for. I was able to expand on all of that and ultimately we came up with pages that were colorful across the whole page spread. This allowed for a fully colored book to really grasp the feeling of the rainbow.
This truly was such a fun and vibrant project, working with a fantastic author/illustrator duo!!
